I found this scene in the Belle Isle Conservatory, and loved it. After a few attempts and angles, I looked at my camer's LCD and thought "I think I just created a scene from a Coen Brothers film, minus the person in skinny pants, knit cap, and glasses."
Somehow, I'd lived in the state of Michigan for 20 years, and I'd never seen the state capitol. Soon after the tour started, we entered this room and I immediately anticipated getting to the upper levels. After finding the 10mm insufficient to capture, I remembered that I brought my fisheye lens! (waughmp waughmp). It was surprisingly tough to center the camera, given the pace of the tour, and the side of the building. But I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
